Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, clear customs and meet your safari driver-guide who will transfer you directly to Tarangire National Park, approximately two hours away.
Early morning arrival is ideal for maximizing wildlife experiences, though travelers arriving later may consider overnighting in Arusha before beginning safari activities.
Upon entering the park, begin your exciting game drive through landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and crossed by the life-giving Tarangire River, the only permanent water source in the region during dry months.
