Day 1
Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Northern White Rhino Experience – Return to Nairobi
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel, residence, or airport in Nairobi at approximately 5:00 AM.
You will travel north through Kenya’s scenic central highlands, passing coffee farms, tea plantations, and local towns while enjoying sunrise views over the countryside.
A short stop may be made en route for refreshments and stretching before continuing toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy near Nanyuki.
The drive is scenic and comfortable, allowing you to appreciate the transition from bustling city landscapes to Kenya’s beautiful wilderness.
Upon arrival at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, your adventure begins with an exciting game drive through one of Kenya’s leading conservation areas.
The highlight of the day is visiting the protected enclosure of the last two northern white rhinos, a rare and emotional wildlife encounter few places in the world can offer.
You may also see black rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, impalas, and many other species roaming the conservancy.
Depending on timing, you may visit the chimpanzee sanctuary (optional or included depending on package setup), enjoy a picnic or lodge lunch, and continue wildlife viewing before departing for Nairobi in the afternoon.
Arrive back in Nairobi in the evening and transfer to your hotel, residence, or airport.
For travelers with a late flight home, an optional dinner stop in Nairobi can be arranged before airport transfer.
