Day 1

Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha at approximately 8:00 AM before heading west through scenic countryside and the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment toward Lake Manyara National Park.

Though compact in size, Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks, known for lush groundwater forests filled with giant fig trees, mahogany trees, acacias, and thriving populations of baboons and blue monkeys.

During your full-day game drive, look for elephants wandering through forest clearings, giraffes crossing open plains, impalas, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos near the lake shoreline.

Birdlife is equally spectacular, with flamingos and numerous migratory species around the alkaline waters.

The landscapes here create remarkable photography opportunities, especially with wildlife framed against the shimmering lake and Rift Valley backdrop.

Optional activities such as a boat excursion (seasonal) or bicycle tour may also be available depending on timing and park conditions.

Later, transfer to your mid-range lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner

Transport Distance & Time: Approx. 126 km | 2–2.5 hours drive plus full-day game drive

Day 2

Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations.

The drive is long but spectacular, passing scenic landscapes, Maasai settlements, and conservation areas before gradually opening into the famous “endless plains” that define Serengeti.

As you journey deeper into Serengeti, the vast savannah stretches endlessly to the horizon, creating one of the most iconic safari landscapes on Earth.

Home to the Great Migration, millions of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and antelope roam these plains depending on the season.

Serengeti is also among the best places in Africa to search for predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and jackals.

Enjoy a game drive en route to camp before checking into your mid-range accommodation for dinner and overnight surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Transport Distance & Time: Approx. 240 km | 5–7 hours including en-route game viewing

Day 3

Full-Day Serengeti National Park Safari

Today is fully dedicated to exploring the magnificent Serengeti National Park, with complete flexibility depending on wildlife movement, photography goals, and your safari preferences.

You may opt for an early morning game drive when predators are most active, followed by lunch and relaxation at camp before heading back out in the afternoon.

Alternatively, enjoy a full-day safari with picnic lunch in the wilderness. Your professional safari guide will tailor the day for optimal wildlife viewing.

Expect extraordinary opportunities to see lions lounging beneath acacia trees, cheetahs stalking prey across the grasslands, elephants traveling in family herds, giraffes gliding elegantly through the savannah, and vast numbers of antelope species grazing across Serengeti’s immense plains.

Birdlife and dramatic landscapes further enrich this unforgettable safari experience.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Transport Distance & Time: Flexible game drives | Approx. 50–120 km depending on wildlife sightings

Day 4

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Rise very early for one of the safari’s most magical moments — an early sunrise game drive when wildlife activity peaks and the golden African sunrise paints Serengeti in dramatic colors.

After the game drive, return to camp for a rewarding brunch before continuing toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “8th Wonder of the Natural World.”

Covering approximately 102 square miles and enclosed by towering crater walls, Ngorongoro protects one of Africa’s densest wildlife ecosystems.

The crater contains rivers, swamps, open plains, forests, and soda lakes filled with flamingos.

It is also among the few places where travelers have a realistic chance of spotting endangered black rhinos.

Arrive in time for a scenic sundowner and overnight stay at your mid-range lodge near the crater rim.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Transport Distance & Time: Approx. 145 km | 4–5 hours including safari stops

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

Begin your day early as you descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for one of East Africa’s finest safari experiences.

The crater floor is alive with wildlife, offering opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, flamingos, hyenas, jackals, and possibly the elusive black rhino.

The scenery is equally breathtaking, with lush grasslands and shimmering soda lakes surrounded by towering crater walls.

Following a thrilling morning game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch near the famous hippo pool before continuing with additional wildlife viewing.

Later, ascend the crater and begin your scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon around 5:00 PM.
